When you send a secure Encyro message from Outlook, the message content itself is not stored to your sent emails folder. This is to prevent sensitive data from being saved to your sent folder which is usually set to automatically synchronize with your email server and all other devices you access email on. Rather, a copy of the notification email sent to the recipients regarding your secure message is stored. Multiple notifications are stored when there are multiple recipients.
In this case you may wish to
- Re-send the notification: If the recipient cannot find their secure message notification, you may need to re-send the notification. The Encyro Outlook addin will not auto-decrypt the sent notifications, so you can re-send them simply by forwarding the send item. Note that the notification links only work for the original recipient, so do not forward it to anyone else.
-
Read the sent secure message: To read the secure content of the message yourself, click the "Decrypt Sent Message" button shown below the sent message.
- You may still forward the sent message notification to the recipient (after decryption) if needed. Unlike responding to received secure messages, the notification email content, and not the secure content, will be included in the reply or forwarded response.
